World Ride is a 501c3 non profit whose mission is to empower women globally through mountain biking. Osprey, along with Shredley were generous sponsors of the film, and continue to support our on going collaborations with World Ride.
We shot this film over the course of 3 weeks in Guatemala City, Antigua, Lake Atitlan, and Acatenango, Guatemala’s famously active volcano. The landscape was a big part of the film, as it is a big part of life in Guatemala, and informs much of our star’s lifestyle, culture, struggles and strengths.
We created 8 pieces of social content to tease out, before premiering the film on Osprey’s hosted YouTube channel. The film was a huge success, raising money for World Ride’s efforts to outfit women all over the world with bikes and special bike training they wouldn’t get elsewhere. To say this project was a magical experience would be a disservice to what we love about what we do.
